Every year in March, CIFF (China International Furniture Fair) takes place in the China Import and Export Fair Complex, Canton Fair Complex for short, one of the largest and most advanced exhibition centers in Asia.
Located on Pazhou Island of Guangzhou, the Canton Fair Complex is a perfect integration of humanistic concepts, green ecology, and state-of-the-art technologies, which was even awarded with the Gold Prize of LEED Building Operations and Maintenance.
The Canton Fair Complex is wholly owned and operated by China Foreign Trade Centre (Group) , among the world’s top 3 exhibition companies under the Ministry of Commerce of China, that also owns CFTE, China Foreign Trade Guangzhou Exhibition General Corp., the organizer of CIFF.
Since 2008, the Canton Fair Complex, with its advanced software and hardware facilities and first-class integrated exhibition services, has become the birthplace of many domestic and foreign brand exhibitions and activities and also the preferred place for large professional exhibitions.
Canton Fair Complex integrates venues, meetings, hotels, catering, engineering, property management, advertising and tourism, providing the events with all-round services.
Composed of three areas (Area A, B and C) the Complex covers a total construction area of 1,100,000 m2, with an indoor area of 338,000 m2 for exhibition halls and outdoor area of 51,400m2.
The Complex has several VIP rooms, conference rooms with advanced facilities and comprehensive functions.
Business centers, banks, customs, post offices, travel agencies, restaurants, and ticket centers can be easily found along the Pearl River Promenade, which is also the comprehensive service area in the complex.
Food area covers about 30,000 m², with 73 restaurants in total. Various catering services including Chinese food, western style foods and fast foods are available.
The Westin Pazhou, a five-star hotel, is situated just next to Canton Fair Complex. It is the only one that enjoys direct access to the Complex through an air corridor and offers 325 spacious and comfortable guestrooms and suites, four restaurants and bars as well as a total of 10 meeting venues.
